NOTE:
Chuck Hawes has been a full-time bladesmith for 5-years, specializing in Damascus Steel and Knives. he is well known for producing a durable working knife. All of his blades are hand forged by Chuck himself and feature the following: 160 layers of 1095 and 203E, Hard edge - soft back heat treating, Rockwell 50 - 60 on edge only, which allows working on the top of the blade if desired and also allowing the tang to be drilled anywhere you wish. Rolled convex edge. These features will produce a very good, user friendly or collectible knife. Note: Due to this being a forged product, no two blades will be exactly alike.
